It can vary greatly from troll to troll, but in general they are quite silly, kooky, mischievous and curious. They live in the forest and eat what nature offers them, everything from sticks to insects. Trolls also eat even stranger things, such as fly agarics and horse poo. They can get very old, and it is not unusual for trolls to be over 300 years old. Trolls aren't really dangerous, just very mischievous. They mean no harm when they come up with "magic fabric", it usually just ends badly anyway. For that reason, you should not relax when you are around trolls, as they like to take opportunities to break things they want, such as gold and glitter.
